Lead, coach, and develop a team of communications professionals
Lead the development of proactive, targeted media strategies and compelling narratives
Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and outlets
Partner closely with internal stakeholders across DTNA and the global Daimler Truck organization
Lead the planning and execution of complex in-person and virtual media events
Serve as a spokesperson for DTNA when appropriate
Oversee timely, accurate responses to media inquiries
Drive integrated communication strategies
Manage external agencies and partners
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate communication effectiveness

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Political Science, or related field required
8 years of relevant experience required
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing team members
Proven experience working with journalists and managing media inquiries
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective communication strategies
Strong capability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
High attention to detail and sound judgment
