About this role

The Communications & Marketing Specialist supports the organization by raising awareness of NHC services
Responsible for the strategic development and implementation of communications strategy
Coordinate development of internal story bank
Ensure accuracy and functionality of NHC website
Produce written communications for donor engagement
Oversee creation of marketing and communications deliverables
Manage corporate sponsorship benefits and fulfillment plan
Support events to increase visibility of NHC
Help manage photography and videography needs
Implement social media strategies to engage audiences

An undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or business
Non-profit and healthcare experience is a plus
Strong written, verbal communications, and interpersonal skills
Experience in marketing, communications, email & mail campaigns, social media and graphic design
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Canva, WordPress, MailChimp or comparable CRM platforms
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Strong organizational skills for managing events and activities
Ability to work 40 hours weekly, during the hours of 8am and 5pm with occasional hours as needed
