Manage taxes, including tax assessments, payments, offsets/compensations, refunds, and reconciliations to ensure taxes are correctly collected and paid;
Submit ancillary tax filings, including ECD, ECF, EFD Contribuições, and EFD-Reinf, ensuring they are filed accurately and on time;
Produce reports for tax planning by compiling information from prior years to support future projections;
Contribute to the interpretation of tax legislation, covering primary and ancillary obligations for taxes (IR, CSLL, PIS, COFINS, ISS) to ensure the company remains compliant;
Support tax inspections and legal proceedings, addressing direct and indirect tax matters to resolve questions from tax auditors and/or experts;
Manage and apply tax credits, including compensation credits, and request tax refunds for previous fiscal years;
Support internal audits.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
Postgraduate degree in Tax Management or related area (preferred);
Strong knowledge of tax legislation and withholding taxes (ISS, IR, CSLL, PIS, COFINS);
Experience with ancillary tax filings and SPEDs: ECD, ECF, EFD Contribuições, and EFD-Reinf;
Experience in tax calculations and tax controls;
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (Word and PowerPoint).
