Food Services Manager

Role Overview

• Lead and manage food service operations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
• Oversee menu planning, meal preparation, and service delivery
• Manage Navy accounting system and maintain financial reporting
• Conduct procurement and inventory control
• Monitor compliance with food service directives and operational standards
• Supervise food service personnel, including training and performance evaluation
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Navy food service management
• 1 year of formal education in food service preparation
• Formal training in food sanitation practices and compliance standards
• Ability to manage food safety and operational standards in high-volume environments
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
