Manage and oversee strategic metallurgical projects across growth projects
Provide direct technical support, mentorship, and advisement on mineral processing topics
Lead strategic project planning including decision methodology and resource definition
Interact with internal and external resources on growth projects
Accountable for executing technical development work and quantifying cost impacts
Regularly communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders
Perform metallurgical support activities for project sites
Prepare annual budgets and resourcing plans, and recruit personnel
Develop technical materials for patents and conferences
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Ten (10) years of experience in mineral processing and leaching processes
Five (5) years of experience in operations roles, preferably leading teams
Three (3) years of experience working on projects or other technical initiatives involving mining and engineering companies
Strong experience effecting change in operating processing plants
Knowledge of geo‑metallurgical testing, data interpretation, and modeling tools for forecasting
Experience with processing techniques of large Porphyry copper deposits
Demonstrated history of interpreting geo‑metallurgical results and performing regression analyses and/or simulations to develop grade and recovery models
Specialized technical expertise in three (3) disciplines and general knowledge in five (5) disciplines
Broad experience in mineral processing plant technical support or operations management
MBA or related certification or experience in financial and economic evaluations
Experience managing small technical teams
