Consumer Loan Operations Representative

Role Overview

• Provides general technical and operational support for functions related to the bank’s consumer loan processing and servicing operations
• Ensure loan servicing activities are performed accurately and in compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Create and review consumer loan closing packages
• Complete loan maintenance items within various systems
• Accurately enter new loan data
• Meet quality and productivity standards in a fast-paced loan production environment
• Responsible for accurate disbursements of loan proceeds
• Accountable for responding to verbal and written inquiries
• Process payoffs, loan payments, and returned loan payments
• Review various scheduled reports for exceptions and errors
• Model Thrivent’s leadership competencies

Requirements

• High School/equivalent or an associate degree preferred
• One year banking operations experience required with customer service experience preferred
• One year customer service experience required with banking operations experience preferred
• Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and customer-service skills
• Demonstrate excellent problem resolution skills (preferred)
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bank operations platform experience preferred
• Ability to work accurately, both independently and as part of a team, with interruptions to meet deadlines
