The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for delivering both strategic and day-to-day operational HR support across the employee lifecycle.
This role combines advisory responsibilities with hands-on administrative execution, ensuring efficient HR operations, accurate record-keeping, and consistent application of policies and processes.
Provide practical HR advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and workplace matters
Manage employee relations cases including performance issues, disciplinary actions, grievances, and investigations
Coach managers on handling people-related matters and improving team effectiveness
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, and HR systems
Prepare HR documentation including employment contracts, variation letters, and disciplinary outcomes
Manage onboarding, probation tracking, and offboarding processes end-to-end
Ensure all HR documentation is compliant, consistent, and audit-ready
Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries and provide timely resolutions
Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the business
Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and templates
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and workflows
Support internal audits and ensure HR compliance requirements are met
Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
Contribute to organisational change initiatives such as restructures and workforce planning
Requirements
2–4 years’ experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role with strong operational exposure
Hands-on experience with HR administration, documentation, and systems
Proven ability to manage employee relations matters independently
Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to balance advisory and administrative responsibilities effectively
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field
