Leads the efforts of sales for the SWBC PEO division
Establishes and grows SWBC PEO’s market presence in the Texas markets
Directs sales activities and staff through effective coaching
Provides clear direction and regular feedback to team
Conducts consistent one-on-one pipeline reviews
Creates and achieves overall performance objectives for sales team
Renews existing business by expanding coverage and identifying cross-selling opportunities
Executes annual strategic plan/budget and prepares monthly sales updates
Develops new production, proposals and consultation to sell new accounts
Directly involved in the sales and client relationship process
Manages ongoing relationship management of assigned accounts
Involved in negotiation of pricing and terms and manages contracting
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related field
Minimum of twelve (12) years in an executive level sales and/or sales management experience, including three (3) years in the PEO industry
Experience in business to business sales in the Austin and San Antonio, Texas markets preferred
Demonstrate deep and broad business acumen
Thorough proven strategic relationship manager at executive level
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
Working knowledge of personal computers to include MS Word and Excel
Working knowledge of the PEO industry, including the provision of workers’ compensation insurance benefits, HR outsourcing, payroll, and administration of health and ancillary insurance benefits
Currently possess the Life and Health Group 1 Insurance License or obtain within the first 90 days of employment
