Contribute to setting growth objectives for your territory
Define and execute the growth strategy for the territory in partnership with brokerage firms
Lead growth initiatives and ensure their rollout, adoption and monitoring
Prospect for and close new agreements with brokerage firms, while identifying and developing new markets
Monitor community brokerage performance indicators (sales, submissions, purchase rate) and engage in key conversations as needed
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with brokerages; promote our solutions and new offerings, and monitor activities that influence the business relationship
Diagnose broker performance, negotiate action plans, secure commitment and follow through until results are achieved
Sustain enthusiasm for FPQ5 as well as for our training programs
Represent Cime on various committees; advise and influence internal stakeholders on network needs
Collaborate with related teams to align priorities, share field insights and follow up on initiatives
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the market and competitive landscape to guide strategies and adjust plans when necessary
Work with the Senior Director to ensure alignment on strategy execution
Participate in local activities and events to build strong relationships with the network
Manage the business development budget effectively and optimize resource allocation
Act as the main contact and lead for external vendors
Requirements
Bilingual (French/English) – required to regularly interact with francophone and anglophone clients across the country
Ability to negotiate moderate to complex situations
Strong influencing skills to shape business relationships and achieve development and growth objectives
Ability to perform under pressure to meet targets
Good knowledge of the brokerage network
Strong knowledge of commercial, auto and home insurance products
Proficiency with software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Availability to attend events outside regular business hours (cocktails, conferences, etc.)
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a good driving record
Demonstrated autonomy, organization and proactivity
Commitment to excellence and a client-first mindset
No Canadian work experience required, but must be authorized to work in Canada.
