About this role

Responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships
Handle customer inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism
Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies
Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies
Work with new clients to understand their needs and present options
Set appointments to review existing policies and bind renewals
Confer with customers to provide detailed information about products and services
Resolve product or service issues by selecting and explaining the best solution
Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions

Hold the insurance license required by your state
Have a minimum of two years commercial lines insurance account management experience
Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages
Strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent math and reading skills to perform calculations
Sense of urgency and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems
