Role Overview
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles for local pick-up and delivery
- Conduct warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and quality control
- Verify shipment paperwork and perform checks on dimensions and weight
- Load and unload freight safely from trucks
- Sort and stage outbound freight for delivery
- Interact professionally with customers during pick-up and delivery
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- Able to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass federal/state/local background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to adapt to a stimulating, fast-paced work environment
- Clean driving record
