Draft, structure, analyze, negotiate, review and formalize highly complex contracts, especially those related to the bank’s strategic operations;
Handle matters related to the assignment and acquisition of loan portfolios, focusing on transactions involving funds, multiple parties and complex deal structures, particularly in the payroll‑deductible loan segment;
Perform legal analysis of transactions, products, workflows and internal structures, assessing operational, financial, legal and collateral risks;
Provide legal support to transactions from the perspective of feasibility, risk mitigation and legal certainty;
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contractual instruments, with legal, regulatory and business perspectives;
Support discussions and analyses related to corporate law when applicable to financial transactions;
Evaluate the adherence of transactions, documents and workflows to internal policies, regulations and applicable guidelines;
Act in a consultative and strategic capacity with the bank’s internal areas, frequently interfacing with business, commercial, product, operations, finance, risk, technology and other involved teams;
Support decision‑making on sensitive and strategic matters, providing clear, mature and well‑founded legal positions;
Contribute to the improvement of the team’s workflows, processes and controls, with a focus on efficiency, legal certainty and scalability.
Requirements
Law degree with active OAB registration;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in legal roles with a focus on contracts and support for operations or business teams;
Experience with high‑complexity contracts and legal negotiations;
Experience or familiarity with transactions related to the financial market, financial institutions or related structures;
Strong legal analysis skills, ability to identify risks and develop solutions;
Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively and demonstrate technical confidence;
Strong negotiation skills, interpersonal abilities and clear legal positioning;
Comfortable working closely with different business areas.
