Role Overview
- Reviewing accounting activities and prepare month-end journal entries and accruals
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, including cash accounts
- Reviewing OPEX and COGS and perform monthly cost and variance analysis
- Supporting month-end close in cooperation with internal and external Finance stakeholders (AP, AR, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Business Finance)
- Supporting statutory reporting and reconciliations between local and corporate books (GL, AR, AP, fixed assets)
- Ensuring compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and internal controls, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Have a degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field
- Have a solid experience in general ledger accounting, reporting, or audit
- Demonstrate strong Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset
- Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrate fluency in English (B2+) and knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP; ACCA/PIBR accreditation will be an asset.
