Strategic Projects Manager – M&A, New Business

Role Overview

• Lead projects to assess assets and companies, providing the company with visibility into the strategic returns that could be generated as well as the value of the anticipated financial benefits, and coordinate all stages of an M&A process;
• Lead the evaluation and negotiation of strategic alliance opportunities, new business initiatives and asset monetization that can generate value for the Company, assessing their strategic and financial viability;
• Coordinate qualitative and quantitative assessments, focusing on asset management, valuation of opportunities and risk measurement;
• Prepare executive presentations to support strategic and new-business recommendations;
• Lead complex discussions with teams and internal areas, Vivo executives and partners;
• Lead projects by coordinating their implementation and initial execution;
• Build partnership relationships with various areas of the Company to help achieve the objectives of the department and the projects led.

Requirements

• Completed higher education (Bachelor’s degree), preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or Law – Preferred
• Experience evaluating projects involving complex investment decisions and multiple business variables (Marketing, Technology, Regulatory, Finance);
• Advanced experience in company and asset valuations, including development of financial modeling (valuation);
• Experience preparing PowerPoint presentations that require executive-level communication skills, persuasive impact and unquestionable quality;
• Proven experience in project management;
• Advanced English and Spanish.

Desired requirements and qualifications

• Specialization or Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, M&A and Strategy;
• Experience at consulting firms or in Telecommunications or Technology companies;
