Perform complex, client-specific risk analyses for reinsurance structuring as well as for internal risk management
Actuarial portfolio analyses, model development and simulation analyses for the non-life (property & casualty) business of national and international insurance companies
Quote reinsurance covers and advise on reinsurance strategy, taking into account individual client objectives
Present analytical content and results in meetings and workshops with global and domestic clients in the DACH region and actively contribute to our client events
Prepare benchmarking studies and reports on actuarial analyses and projects
Design and implement structured reinsurance solutions
Contribute to central projects on model validation, model adjustment and process optimization, as well as the further development of analytical methods in international project teams
Provide advisory services in the regulatory environment of the insurance industry with a focus on Solvency II and local accounting rules
Provide actuarial support to licensees of our software products and support the marketing of products (such as MetaRisk®) within the insurance industry
Requirements
Completed (technical) university degree in (business/insurance) mathematics with in-depth statistical or stochastic knowledge, and ideally membership in the German Actuarial Association (DAV)
This position is open to both entry-level candidates and applicants with relevant professional experience in reinsurance, with a focus on non-life insurance
Ability to quickly get up to speed on complex issues and to communicate them clearly
Confident manner internally and externally, with strong client and service orientation
Proficient with MS Office; ideally knowledge of one of the programming languages Python or R
Excellent written and spoken German and English
