About this role
Role Overview
Own and manage strategic vendor relationships across payments, lending, and healthcare services partners
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vendor accounts
Negotiate and manage contracts, SLAs, pricing, and performance metrics
Monitor vendor KPIs and drive accountability on service levels, reliability, and innovation
Partner with Product to align roadmaps and integrations with vendor capabilities
Collaborate with Operations and Service teams to resolve escalations and improve workflows
Identify new partnership opportunities that support growth and product expansion
Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with vendors
Ensure vendors comply with regulatory, security, and healthcare industry standards
Establish and manage recurring operating cadences with strategic partners, including weekly check-ins and quarterly business reviews
Track, prioritize, and drive resolution of vendor action items, escalations, and contractual commitments through to completion
Analyze vendor performance trends and proactively surface risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities to internal leadership
Requirements
5+ years of experience managing complex external partnerships in fintech, payments, healthcare IT, or SaaS environments
Experience in vendor management, strategic partnerships, or account management
Strong contract negotiation and relationship management skills
Familiarity with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and financial services compliance standards
Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and cross-functional leadership ability
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or industry certifications a plus
