This tender engineer role will be focusing initially deploying tenders tools across ITO (Inquiry to Order) organizations in the region and PDGs (Engineering, supply chain, proposal manager and construction).
The tender engineer to lead wing to wing tools adoption following processes.
The candidate will also ensure that the proposed solutions meet customer needs while adhering to industry standards, safety regulations, quality requirements and cost-efficiency objectives.
In this role, the candidate will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Provide expert technical advice during the sales process to ensure solutions align with client needs and specifications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in EHV/ HV Substation engineering.
Good understanding of power system components (transformers, switchgear, protection systems) and renewable energy integration.
Strong knowledge on contract and project management, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), or Engineering equipment package (EEP) type.
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical requirements and business needs.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients.
