Serve as a trusted thought partner to firm leadership on employee matters and organizational needs
Own and optimize the firm’s HRIS platform (Rippling)
Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data, compensation, and reporting
Partner with finance/operations on payroll coordination and reporting
Serve as the primary resource for employee relations issues, including sensitive and confidential matters
Coach partners and managers on communication, feedback, and performance management
Own recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes for staff
Partner with leadership on performance management and feedback cycles
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and legal industry employment regulations
Maintain single reliable and up-to-date resource for all HR related matters

7–10+ years of HR experience, including operating at a manager or senior level
Experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
Strong experience with HRIS systems (administration, reporting, optimization)
Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution
Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance
Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight in a partner-led environment
High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience specifically with Rippling HRIS implementation and management (Rippling University Certification preferred)
Familiarity with intellectual property or technology-focused organizations
HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
