Pricing Strategy and Market Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

• Analyze tender results (submitted prices, winning prices, positioning)
• Monitor market and competitor pricing
• Develop and maintain a bids and pricing database
• Identify pricing trends by sector, client and region
• Recommend appropriate pricing strategies (aggressive, optimized, premium)
• Collaborate with the finance team to validate margins and break-even thresholds
• Support bid teams in setting prices
• Analyze variances between forecasts and actual results
• Develop decision-support tools (pricing models, simulators)
• Produce dashboards and performance indicators (win rate, margins, competitiveness)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of bidding strategies

Requirements

• Hold a university degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering or a relevant field
• Have 3 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis, market intelligence, or pricing
• Excellent quantitative and strategic analytical skills
• Comfortable interpreting complex data
• Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Good understanding of bidding or tender environments
• Rigorous, structured, and results-oriented
• Strong communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient in French (spoken and written); English is an asset
