About this role
Role Overview
Provide scientific information, present and commercialize the relevant AbbVie products to office-based specialists and hospital specialists
Target-group–oriented presentation and promotion of our products in line with the defined brand strategy
Use a broad omnichannel approach as part of the marketing mix
Design, organize and deliver training and continuing education events, and represent the company at regional and national events
Continuously analyze the market using available data with regard to sales development of our products and those of competitors
Identify opportunities and critical developments and derive corresponding strategic activities for targeting and account plans
Conceptualize, coordinate and implement a territory plan within the in-field team
Gather market information and customer insights and determine the customer’s position in the sales cycle
Regular exchange with your regional manager, colleagues and other cross-functional areas
Promote continuous exchange of experience and ideas
Proactive and continuous commitment to customer needs
Co-responsibility for achieving the region’s targets
Professional reporting: timely and proper completion of all administrative tasks
Compliance with all applicable functional requirements as well as legal and regulatory obligations, including procedures and policies on ethics and compliance and the “Code of Business Conduct”
Requirements
University degree in a natural science
Pharmaceutical representative training or the required expertise pursuant to §75 of the German Medicines Act (Arzneimittelgesetz)
Previous successful field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not mandatory
Enthusiasm for the role and a drive for personal development
Ability to present complex scientific information appropriately for the target audience and discuss it with different customer groups
Strong persuasion skills and a results-oriented personality with excellent communication abilities
High degree of agility and motivation to pursue and achieve goals
Strong digital competence and analytical skills combined with creativity
Pioneering spirit and a strong will to succeed, including commitment to personal development within the company
Flexibility, willingness to commit and team spirit
Very good written and spoken English
