Lead the management and integration of O&M requirements derived over the system design, construction, testing, and commissioning activities
Serve as the primary point of contact between Operations, Maintenance, Systems Engineering, and Design & Construction teams
Develop the Rule Book and the suite of Operational, Maintenance and Emergency procedures in collaboration with Calgary Transit
Develop and manage O&M concept of operations, maintenance strategies, staffing assumptions, and asset lifecycle considerations
Support asset management database establishment, tracking system components with lifecycle maintenance schedules
Review and influence design deliverables to ensure compliance with maintainability, accessibility, safety, resilience, and operational efficiency requirements
Support definition and execution of operational readiness, including training, manuals, and maintenance facilities readiness
Participate in Systems Engineering, Systems Assurance and safety certification activities from an O&M perspective
Support testing, commissioning, trial running, and handover processes to ensure smooth transition to revenue service
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience may be considered)
Minimum 10 years of experience in rail or transit projects, with direct involvement in operations, maintenance, systems integration, or commissioning
Experience working within large, multi-disciplinary design–build or public infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of LRT operations, maintenance practices, and asset lifecycle management
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and coordination skills
