Account Manager, Surety Commercial Lines

Role Overview

• Handle the day-to-day client service requirements on an assigned book of business
• Prepare, issue, and invoice surety bonds
• Respond promptly to client requests for bonds, quotes, and information
• Clarify requirements and timelines and gather needed documentation
• Serve as a primary client contact, routing inquiries to appropriate internal resources when needed
• Keep Account Executive informed of client needs, escalations, and status of open items
• Prepare bonds using internal systems (e.g., Tinubu, Epic) as directed
• Generate invoices and coordinate bond and invoice delivery
• Maintain accurate system documentation and transaction records
• Reconcile premiums/commissions with accounting and resolve discrepancies

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in the insurance industry is required.
• Experience working in surety – particularly issuance and billing of bonds – is preferred.
• Possess or obtain insurance licenses as required by the Company.
• Must have a reliable source of transportation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Power Point, etc.) is required.
• Prior experience with specific software solutions like Epic or Tinubu is preferred.
• Ability to follow process and procedures guidance.
