Focus on strategic growth and business development of identified strategic accounts (local and/or international).
Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services.
Together with the Business Development team, have close involvement in shipowner/shipyard sales, significant or complex retrofit or project opportunities, including quotation and follow-up activities.
Driving and owning frame/fleet agreements to maximize efficiency and growth.
Set pricing strategy and align this across Alfa Laval entities.
Actively cooperate with other Sales Companies to align on contract discussions and strategic account management.
Conduct regular account reviews, be present and active in the market, and aware of competitor activities with their customers.
Provide support to customers throughout the sales process.
Work with colleagues to continuously improve ways of working and customer experience.
Drive excellence and efficiency in terms of own performance, responsiveness and data analysis to improve ways of working and benefit the customer experience.
Maintain, build, and grow relationships with key customers, partners and industry bodies as required.
Travel is part of the role, primarily within the Nordics and Europe.
Requirements
Commercial or Merchant Marine industry experience, or familiarity with equipment used in the marine sector
Proven sales performance within a B2B environment
Experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role is an advantage
Strong business acumen and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
Strong communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language (Danish or Norwegian)
High digital competence, including Microsoft Office and other collaboration tools
A structured approach to managing tasks and priorities
