Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, and Estates.
Review tax returns prepared by others.
Prepare documentation to support tax return calculations.
Mentor a team of Associates, Seniors, and Supervisors.
Review data input, identifying, and resolving technical issues.
Work closely with partners and keep team informed on status.
Increase level of client communication while working on their tax returns, and potentially throughout multiple years.
Understand federal, state, and local tax codes.
Apply knowledge to real life situations, encouraging thinking outside of the box.
Share ideas and opinions with your team.
Attend professional development and training sessions regularly and apply what you learn to assigned tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
5-7+ years of experience in public accounting; preferred experience in complex tax with high-wealth clients and trusts.
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Willing to embrace moments of pressure and tight deadlines during busy season(s).
