Review the project scope and compare it to the GE Vernova proposal during the handover of the project file from the Commercial team to Project Management.
Lead the project kick-off meeting with all internal contributors and assign roles and responsibilities.
Lead the client kick-off meeting to communicate the scope of work and clarify any outstanding items in the order.
Manage the overall execution of complex electrical substation projects, ensuring compliance with contractual scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
Consolidate and coordinate activities across multiple sub-projects and workstreams, building an integrated project view and ensuring alignment of priorities, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Establish and maintain effective project governance, including project reviews, action tracking, decision logs, escalation management, and reporting to leadership.
Monitor project performance using key performance indicators and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, delays, and cost impacts that could affect successful project delivery.
Manage client communications and stakeholder coordination to ensure transparency, alignment, and prompt resolution of technical, commercial, and execution-related matters.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of project management experience relevant to the role, ideally in electrical substations, network infrastructure, energy, or other large-scale, complex industrial projects.
University degree (Bachelor's) in engineering, business, operations, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus.
Experience in cross-functional and international project environments.
Strong command of project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
