About this role
Role Overview
Own the full sales cycle in Germany, from self-generated pipeline to closed deals
Deliver sales targets by focusing on new customer acquisition
Create and develop new opportunities through cold outreach, networking, events, and in-person meetings
Build relationships with decision-makers across financial institutions, advisory firms, and other strategic German accounts
Consistently share insights and provide updates to customers
Take part in arranging M&A Community events, enhancing Ideals visibility
Provide relevant customer feedback to the product development and management teams
Collaborate with Customer Success and Inside Sales to grow customer satisfaction and the company’s revenue
Requirements
3+ years of demonstrable success in direct sales or business development within B2B or professional services sector
Experience in high-velocity sales environments and effectively engaging with decision-makers
Clear evidence of hunter mentality
A track record of successfully managing pipelines and closing high-value deals
Exceptional business communication skills to structure persuasive pitches and navigate client discovery
Full professional proficiency in English (C1) and native-level fluency in German
Based in Berlin or within a realistic commuting distance for in-person client meetings
Background in SaaS, fintech, financial services, information security, or other high-trust B2B industries (nice to have)
Exposure to selling into financial or advisory environments (nice to have)
Additional European language (nice to have)
