Own end-to-end performance of the Behavioral Health provider network, including access, utilization, engagement, retention, and operational sustainability across therapy and psychiatry disciplines
Lead Behavioral Health network strategy, translating enterprise and clinical goals into actionable recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and capacity plans informed by access metrics, wait times, and utilization trends
Oversee provider recruiting and engagement operations, ensuring timely pipeline movement, credentialing readiness, and provider activation in partnership with Sales/Acct Mgmt, Credentialing, Delegations, and Provider Services teams
Lead capacity planning efforts using analytical models to proactively identify access risks, licensure gaps, and targeted expansion opportunities
Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring executive reporting to monitor network health, SLAs, wait times, utilization, and provider engagement metrics
Use quantitative and qualitative data to assess performance, evaluate initiatives, support ROI analysis, and recommend operational or financial course corrections
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex provider, access, or network issues impacting quality, experience, or compliance
Partner cross-functionally with Sales/Acct Mgmt, Clinical Leadership, Product, Compliance, Government Programs, Finance, and Analytics to ensure network operations align with regulatory requirements (e.g., NCQA, CMS, state standards) and contractual obligations
Represent Behavioral Health Network Operations in executive forums, audits, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and enterprise initiatives
Provide direct leadership to Behavioral Health network operations staff, including goal setting, coaching/development, performance management, workforce planning, and talent development
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, provider network management, or related leadership roles
Demonstrated people-leadership experience in complex, matrixed environments
Experience leading Behavioral Health, clinical, or virtual care provider networks strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform operational decisions and performance improvement
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior and executive leadership
