About this role
Role Overview
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with program and organizational objectives
Provide oversight for projects led by other Program Managers to ensure consistency and alignment
Ensure program and project benefits are realized across Collins operations
Communicate effectively with operations and executive leadership, providing clarity on priorities, risks, and progress
Lead all program phases from inception through completion, including customer interface and requirements alignment
Use data analytics to generate insights, guide strategic decision making, and strengthen operational awareness
Drive productivity improvements that lead to quantifiable cost savings and enhanced operational performance
Influence and lead change across a matrixed organization, building consensus and accelerating adoption of new technologies
Operate in alignment with the RLPM framework to ensure disciplined program execution, risk management, and governance
Serve as a site liaison for key operational and project activities
Develop and maintain program plans, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadences that support leadership visibility and decision making
Travel up to 25%, including potential extended assignments for key business activities
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Background in manufacturing support within a high‑mix factory environment
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both vertically and horizontally across a large organization
Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders and leading cross‑functional decision forums
Proven capability to take initiative, provide direction, and drive operations to completion
Experience leading challenging programs, navigating adversity, and driving alignment in complex or ambiguous situations
Ability to influence and drive change across a matrixed enterprise
