About this role
Role Overview
AI-Assisted Content Engine: Produce high-quality, AI-assisted content that drives organic traffic. You will act as a high-volume prompt engineer, generating, fact-checking, and refining up to 20 articles a day using tools like Claude.
AEO & SEO: Ensure the content is optimized not just for Google (SEO), but for AI Engines (AEO) to put our client in front of the right audience.
Outbound Sales & Hustle: Run cold outreach campaigns -
email, LinkedIn, and beyond -
to identify and engage prospective clients in the education sector.
Pipeline Management: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, gather the right information, and pass sales-ready opportunities to senior team members.
Adapt & Scale: Take on whatever else needs doing, within reason. This is a startup. The above list will grow.
Requirements
The Educator Advantage: Experience in the education sector; you understand how tutoring businesses, schools, or edtech companies operate. (Former teachers and tutors highly encouraged to apply).
Impeccable Communication: Exceptional, fluent English. Strong written communication is non-negotiable. This role lives and dies on the quality of the words you put out into the world.
Fearless Outreach: Comfort with outbound sales activity. Cold outreach does not intimidate you; you understand it is a skill, not a personality trait.
Unmatched Work Ethic (with Boundaries): You are a self-starter who sees a gap and fills it. You can thrive in a highly intense startup environment, but you also possess the maturity to say "no" and protect your time outside of agreed working hours.
Remote Readiness: You are based in a major South African city and possess the necessary infrastructure (reliable internet, inverter/UPS) to work seamlessly through load shedding.
