8+ years of professional software development experience
Deep knowledge of Java
Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST, GraphQL, etc)
Strong understanding of distributed systems
Deep knowledge of data concepts related to relational databases
Experience developing client-side code via JavaScript/TypeScript/Ajax/etc
Experience in enterprise environments such as source code control, IDE, continuous deployment, and release management (Git, perforce, Eclipse, Intellij, VSCode, Jenkins)
A demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering
Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in development workflows
Advanced prompt engineering skills
Experience with Agile software development and Test Driven Development methodologies
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
A related technical degree required.
