Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for employee benefits, health plans, and 401(k)
Manage benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations; ensure accuracy in ADP and with carriers
Lead and administer all leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws
Manage all workers’ compensation (WC) claims from initial report through closure
Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems for all benefit, leave, and WC-related transactions
Create, maintain, and continuously improve HR documentation, including SOPs and job aids
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in employee benefits administration, 401k audits, leave of absence management (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD), and workers' compensation
Strong knowledge and application of federal and state employment laws and regulations
Proficient in using HR software (e.g., ADP, PeopleSoft) and Microsoft Office Suite
Exposure to multiple HR functions and best practices
