Accounts Payable Manager

Role Overview

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments
• Manage and mentor accounts payable staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries
• Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and 1099 reporting compliance
• Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations
• Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate payment terms when appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable/accounting professional experience in a healthcare environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and database functions
• Strong working knowledge of accounting systems, including BILL and Sage Intacct
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous staff management and team leadership experience
