About this role
Role Overview
Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across core business categories and product lines
Develop and refine strategic hypotheses, challenging assumptions to support high-quality decision making
Collaborate with Marketing and Finance teams to develop business cases to support commercial decisions (market sizing, financial modeling, strategic fit)
Advocate opportunities internally and secure buy-in from cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Operations)
Oversee execution and coordinate integration of new product introductions (NPI) generated by the Business Development function
Understand, define and monitor the evolving competitive landscape, startups and emerging trends
Coordinate alignment among cross-functional stakeholders and manage interdependencies across initiatives
Prepare and manage materials for steering committees and executive team updates
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
More than 5 years of experience in a global consumer goods (FMCG) environment or a similarly fast-paced operational setting
Experience in business development, strategy, consulting or commercial roles (experience in mergers & acquisitions or corporate development is an asset but not required)
Experience in strategic analysis, execution, performance tracking, project evaluation and strong commercial acumen
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to influence effectively
Ability to simplify complex situations and to synthesize and present complex information
Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools (e.g., large language models — LLMs) to accelerate research and analysis
Proficiency in English; French is an asset.
