Lead execution of early-stage energy feasibility assessments for prospective data center developments (Gate 0–2), ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality outputs
Develop and implement site-level power assessments evaluating feasibility, delivery timelines, scalability, and risk for assigned markets
Identify and assess power availability, infrastructure constraints, interconnection pathways, and delivery schedules, translating findings into actionable recommendations
Own delivery of energy-related due diligence outputs, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and documentation of key assumptions
Support market entry and site selection decisions by providing structured analysis and recommendations aligned to broader development strategy
Lead coordination across Market Development, Site Selection, Energy Planning, and project teams to ensure alignment and execution of energy feasibility workstreams
Manage relationships with utilities, IPPs, and external stakeholders to gather inputs on capacity, infrastructure requirements, cost considerations, and timelines
Oversee and validate external inputs and technical analyses, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with project requirements
Prepare executive-ready summaries and materials outlining power feasibility, risks, and tradeoffs to support leadership decision-making
Drive execution of standardized tools, frameworks, and processes for energy strategy and feasibility assessment across assigned markets
Ensure effective handoffs of energy analysis, assumptions, and risks to downstream execution teams to support project delivery continuity
Lead and develop junior team members or analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight of deliverables
Monitor and report on market trends, risks, and emerging constraints impacting power availability and project feasibility

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Economics, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
10-15 years of experience in energy strategy, power infrastructure, or energy-related development roles
Demonstrated experience leading early-stage strategy, feasibility assessments, or development planning, rather than project execution
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision in complex, cross-functional environments
Prior experience across electric utilities, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), energy or infrastructure development, economic or business development supporting large-scale infrastructure, data centers or other large-load environments, or natural gas power and generation facilities
Strong knowledge of utility service models, grid infrastructure, interconnection concepts, and power delivery constraints
Ability to operate effectively in early-stage, ambiguous environments with incomplete or evolving information
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical inputs into business-relevant insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-ready materials
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation discipline
Ability to influence cross-functionally and influence outcomes without direct authority
Travel required is expected to be up to 25-30% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
