Role Overview
- Lead upstream product strategy from concept development through handoff
- Identify unmet clinical needs through structured voice-of-customer activities
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive assessments to inform product positioning
- Develop product requirements by defining user needs, value propositions, and target product profiles
- Build business cases, including market sizing, pricing strategy, revenue forecasts, and investment justification
- Partner cross-functionally to translate customer insights into feasible product concepts
- Support clinical strategy by defining claims, endpoints, and evidence requirements
- Define launch readiness inputs for downstream marketing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 4 years of work experience
- Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred
- 2 years of experience in upstream product management within the medical device industry or marketing functions
- Experience supporting or participating in new product development processes
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple cross functional stakeholders
- Experience working within complex, multi‑step business processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
