About this role
Role Overview
Deliver district‑level orders, revenue, and margin results across the SCIEX instrument portfolio
Own district forecasting rigor, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly order and revenue commitments
Develop and execute district growth and action plans using DBS methodologies, visual management, and performance metrics
Build and maintain senior‑level customer relationships and key opinion leader engagement across the West region
Assess competitive and market dynamics, identify growth opportunities and risks, and implement timely countermeasures
Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (Service, Finance, Sales Operations, HR, IT, Legal) to achieve business objectives
Lead, coach, and performance‑manage direct reports, enabling capability development, engagement, and succession readiness
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a life science–related discipline or equivalent experience in technical sales
5+ yrs experience leading individual contributors in a sales environment
Experience owning sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management at a district level
Demonstrated application of structured continuous improvement or business system methodologies
Experience leading and operating effectively within a remote, geographically dispersed organization
Ability to travel extensively within the S Central region, including overnight travel, as business needs require
Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
