Role Overview
- Drive consistent area pricing operational processes and communications.
- Responsible for Area price simplification efforts: including price analysis and simulation
- Works with sales district owners to develop optimal price levers
- Designs and implements Material listings strategies together with Area Portfolio Managers
- Leads yearly price change for the area aligned to the A3M Model
- Leads area pricing improvement projects as prioritized by the Area Portfolio Marketers or Customer Operations Leaders
- Lead and validate data quality staging and audits
- Works to drive pricing and policy consistency across business units and assist in providing feedback to creating playbooks that unify the Safety & Industrial Business Group pricing guidelines
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA desired
- Certified Pricing Professional Certificate desired
- Must have more than 5 years of combined experience in Portfolio leadership and Operational excellence
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively across businesses and operations teams
- Demonstrated ability to understand portfolio management as well as operational efficiencies
- Ability to manage difficult situations up and down the organizational chart with resiliency
- Advanced Excel skill is preferred.
