Role Overview
- Act as a primary point of contact for the team and other business units
- Design new products and develop new coverages
- Contribute to the design of various commercial products
- Advise on integration into the operational system
- Participate in the work of various multidisciplinary committees
- Draft policy wording clauses and perform appropriate follow-up
Requirements
- Hold a college diploma in general insurance or an equivalent qualification
- Have a minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial business insurance underwriting
- Experience in commercial underwriting
- Knowledge of and relevant experience with E&O (Errors & Omissions) and D&O (Directors & Officers) coverages
- Hold the Insurance Professional of Canada (PAA) designation or be in the process of obtaining it
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
