Create and oversee customized asset management strategies for multi-family LIHTC and HUD communities
Maximize total return for each assigned asset through analysis of property efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance
Work closely with property managers and Regional Managers to provide direction for oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, analysis and approvals
Conduct market studies of competing properties to determine market competitive rents
Manage cash flow, distribution analysis and investment projections
Develop and distribute periodic asset management reports to senior management, investors, consultants and other partners
Position each asset for optimal financial performance through budgeting and monitoring financial performance
Requirements
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related field with strong record of academic achievement
MBA or CPA preferred
Experience in property management/leasing/operations and/or real estate asset management
Proficiency with modeling investments in Excel
Understanding of Partnership Agreements and Low Income Housing Tax Credits
Understanding of accounting and financial modeling
Solid analytical and organizational skills
Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem solving approach.
