Responsible for general operations and maintenance support to maintain high plant availability
Perform routine and non-routine preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
Make plant rounds and log equipment operating parameters
Schedule and coordinate field related activities
Requisition and assist in ordering and receiving plant materials
Represent the company with vendors and regulators
Respond calmly and think clearly in emergency situations
Evaluate and find causes for equipment inefficiencies
Strictly adhere to and enforce safety procedures
Work with contractors and temporary labor during site activities
Use installed and portable test equipment to troubleshoot equipment
Must be able to operate a vehicle safely and travel overnight approximately 25% of the time

High school diploma
At least 2 years of technical training in operations and routine maintenance of battery storage
4 years of experience working in a power plant
Knowledge of operating a power plant or battery storage facility
Knowledge and/or background for operating and maintaining mechanical and/or electrical systems
Ability to maintain electrical systems is preferred
Knowledge of PLC based instrumentation and control systems
Ability to troubleshoot, repair and calibrate is preferred
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and other programs
