About this role
Role Overview
Support the development of M&A theses and analyze the strategic fit of opportunities such as acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures and divestments that can create value for Vivo;
Build technical-financial models (valuation) for identified opportunities, together with internal teams and external advisors involved in M&A processes;
Coordinate end-to-end M&A transactions (primarily buy-side), supported by the area manager, including: screening, evaluation of potential targets, structuring acquisition offers and contracts, due diligence (financial, accounting, tax, labor, operational, etc.), internal/external approvals, closing and structuring the post-deal integration plan;
Prepare materials and deliver executive presentations with strategic recommendations to support top management decisions;
Develop partnership relationships with different internal areas at Vivo, executives and external parties (advisors, consultancies, targets, etc.) that contribute to the success of the projects led by the team;
Co-lead and promote the development of the analyst team;
Support managers in preparing and obtaining approval — with C-Level executives and the Boards of Vivo and Telefónica S.A. — for Vivo's Strategic Plan document;
Support senior leaders and peer areas in Vivo's Strategic Planning process by facilitating strategic discussions and aligning long-term projections, objectives and targets;
Prepare analyses, research and desk work on demand from the C-Level, providing information and delivering strategic opinions and recommendations;
Lead cross-functional consolidation themes and/or represent the directorate (periodic reports to senior management, all-hands, governance and finance);
Respond, on demand, to local peers on matters related to Competitive Intelligence;
Conduct preliminary feasibility analyses of pre-projects.

Required professional experience

Strategic Planning and Competitive Intelligence;
Advanced English; Spanish desirable;
Experience in strategy consultancies or strategy departments of large companies;
Leadership of major transformational and strategic projects.
