The Project Controls Advisor consolidates project scope and cost for budgets ranging from ~$25M to $1B+.
Ensure projects comply with governance processes and assist Project Managers with executive approvals.
Analyze cost estimates, verify alignment with historical benchmarks, and manage documentation for regulatory filings.
Develop cost estimates for new and existing projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review cost estimates and gain necessary approvals.
Perform variance analysis on cost estimates and prepare updates based on change requests.

Minimum of ten years construction industry experience.
Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.
Proficient in computer-assisted design (AutoCAD) and other design, data recording, and analyzation software.
Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering plans and schematics, and soils reports.
Capability to visualize the finished grade production.
Knowledge of Best Management Practices (BMP).
Thorough understanding of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings.
Thorough understanding of safety regulations related to assigned projects.
Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to be both creative and analytical.
Extremely detail-oriented and accurate.
