Own end-to-end preparation of the site’s monthly closes, including consistency checks and variance analysis.
Support the site’s annual budgeting and forecasting cycles by collaborating with department heads.
Work with operational stakeholders to challenge assumptions and ensure the accuracy of data entered into our systems.
Update and maintain product costing to ensure the accuracy of bills of materials (BOMs) and labor costs.
Develop and refresh financial working methods to improve efficiency, even where formal procedures are not yet established.
Support production managers on group-wide financial projects and identify opportunities to leverage AI tools.
Act as the on-site financial contact to advise and influence the Plant Director.
Participate in local leadership meetings to explain financial results and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as scrap/waste rate and labor efficiency.
Drive local financial performance and budgetary discipline through relevant data analysis and persuasive communication.
Build and monitor robust business cases for new investments to support the site’s sustainable growth.
Help the factory team understand the financial reality behind their operations to inspire improved performance.
Bring a proactive management control mindset to the plant to continually improve our local financial processes.
Requirements
Solid experience in a manufacturing or operational finance environment (industrial management control).
Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets (lookup functions, pivot tables and formula logic).
Fluent English is essential to collaborate daily in our international environment.
Ability to work cross-functionally between on-site production teams and central finance teams.
Strong analytical skills combined with an organized and pragmatic problem-solving approach.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a changing environment.
Experience using Oracle and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Board or Looker.
