About this role
Role Overview
Work closely with Partners/Directors to develop and implement individual and team business development plans aligned to strategic growth objectives.
Provide proactive support in identifying target clients, referral sources and growth opportunities.
Facilitate account planning sessions and support the development of key client growth strategies.
Monitor progress against BD plans, providing regular reporting, insight and recommendations.
Coach and support Partners/Directors on business development activity, pipeline management and relationship-building initiatives.
BD reporting and monitoring ROI.
Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across Manchester, Lancashire and Birmingham.
Provide support and embed HubSpot use across the offices.
Support the delivery of firmwide BD campaigns, growth programmes and strategic projects.
Undertake client feedback and align with key account management programmes for the North East.
Requirements
5+ GCSEs (A–C/Grade 4 or above), including English and Maths.
A CIM qualification or Marketing degree is a bonus, but it's not essential.
At least 5 years' experience in a B2B marketing environment, with professional services or business development experience being advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and great project management abilities.
Commercial awareness with the confidence to make informed decisions.
The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as HubSpot.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
A positive, adaptable approach and a willingness to support the wider team.
