Häns Kissle is committed to delivering high-quality prepared foods and deli salads. The Business Development Manager will drive sales growth and expand the market presence for fresh prepared foods, specifically targeting Quick Service Restaurants and foodservice partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to expand sales within Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), foodservice, and food service department within retail partners
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to increase revenue and market penetration
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and potential growth areas
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at QSR chains, foodservice, and retail partners
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product solutions
- Lead customer negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth
- Collaborate with R&D and Marketing teams to identify opportunities for new product development tailored to customer demand
- Drive & manage the Hans Kissle Team to develop specific products for the food service segments
- Drive go-to-market strategies for new product launches within assigned segments
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and fulfillment
- Work cross functionally with Marketing, Product Development, Finance, Quality Assurance and operations to build out profitable on-going product line for food service channel
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and industry trends to optimize business strategies
- Develop and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior leadership
- Ensure sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of business development or sales experience in CPG, fresh prepared foods, foodservice, or QSR industries
- Proven track record of securing and growing accounts within QSRs, foodservice or retail
- Strong understanding of supply chain, product development, and food safety regulations
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans
- Proficiency in data analysis, sales forecasting, and CRM tools
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork abilities
- MBA preferred
