About this role
Role Overview
Execute strategic sales and business development plans to drive profitable growth across assigned markets
Identify, develop, and track Hydropower and Renewables project opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with AEC firms, design professionals, contractors, distributors, owners, and public authorities
Partner with Sales Representatives to deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and consultative technical solutions
Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning
Support product launches and go-to-market strategies
Provide technical support through client education, jobsite visits, and industry presentations
Expand networks of engineers, contractors, and industry influencers
Represent MAPEI at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations
Collaborate cross-functionally to align strategy and share insights
Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures
Perform assigned tasks in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred; minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or technical sales within construction materials or a related industry
Strong experience within construction restoration systems or relevant product/market segments
Proven experience working in Hydropower and Renewables construction projects, specifications, and key industry stakeholders
Experience supporting product launches, technical presentations, or specification development preferred
Strong technical aptitude and consultative sales approach
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to travel as needed to support projects, customers, and industry events
Benefits
Competitive salary between $90,000 and $140,000 based on experience
