Manage regional sales performance and the company's strategic initiatives to meet or exceed corporate objectives
Ensure control and monitoring of the sales management process across all staff
Coach sales teams to maximize revenue and profit growth
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and develop long-term partnerships
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with clients
Support branch managers in maintaining and improving customer service
Ensure sound inventory management
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships and develop long-term partnerships
Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees
Prepare annual budgets and operate within the regional budget
Prepare monthly sales forecasts
Perform performance analyses (NPV, ROI) to justify investment projects
Understand financial and operational systems and the impact of actions and decisions on operating profit, operating expenses, cost of sales, overhead, inventory levels, and receivables
Work collaboratively with corporate groups such as Technical Service, Finance & Accounting, Strategic Accounts, Human Resources, Marketing, etc.
Identify and resolve potential issues in their early stages
Analyze economic conditions and develop/execute contingency plans
Keep senior management informed of progress and issues on a regular basis
Prepare and deliver presentations and produce required reports
Requirements
University degree in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Engineering
3 to 5 years of experience in industrial sales
3 to 5 years of experience in sales and operations management
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Valid driver's license
Proficient computer skills
Strong understanding of costs, pricing, and commercial and technical practices
