Be responsible for the sales of ABB's Electrification products in Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas.
Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
Showcase expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
Drive contractor relationships by building strong, multi‑level partnerships with electrical contractors and influencing specifications to prefer ABB solutions.
Execute strategic sales plans to grow market share and margin, introduce new products, and consistently meet or exceed volume and profitability targets.
Lead opportunity management through proactive pipeline tracking, competitive intelligence gathering, take‑offs, cost‑effective proposals, and successful negotiation and closure of project orders.
Deliver customer education via technical presentations, training, and industry engagement while maintaining accurate CRM data and analyzing hit‑rate performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or GED with 5+ years of sales experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products
Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential projects to electrical contractors
Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
