Steer external agencies by setting direction, providing feedback, and ensuring work meets OpenAI's standards for craft, effectiveness, and originality.
Help evolve creative processes, frameworks, and systems that enable teams to move faster without compromising quality.
Identify patterns in testing, audience behavior, and campaign performance to inform future creative decisions and experimentation.
Collaborate closely with designers, writers, motion teams, producers, and strategists to bring integrated ideas to life.
Balance long-term thinking with rapid execution, knowing when a project calls for ambitious creative exploration and when it requires pragmatic decision-making.
Navigate ambiguity with confidence and act as a trusted creative partner to cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
Have 10+ years of experience in creative roles, including experience leading multidisciplinary work across social, growth and/or integrated marketing.
Are a true creative generalist who can think strategically while maintaining strong instincts for execution and craft.
Bring demonstrated expertise in social-first creative, with a deep understanding of how ideas translate across platforms, audiences, and evolving behaviors. You know what makes work resonate in-feed and how to balance native platform instincts with brand objectives.
Have a portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative judgment and leadership across a variety of channels and formats.
Are comfortable using data, testing, and audience insights to sharpen creative thinking without becoming constrained by them.
Have experience working with and directing agencies, and know how to get the best out of external partners.
Thrive in fast-moving environments and don't see speed as a trade-off for quality.
