Act as a central point of contact for many program candidates and external partners.
Provide excellent customer service in all forms of communication.
Support the application and documentation processes for internationally educated and practicing physicians (called International Medical Graduates – IMGs).
Maintain the database and filing systems.
Assist in the collection and organization of licensing and immigration paperwork.
Track candidates’ progress throughout the program’s lifecycle.
Respond to general inquiries from partners, interested applicants, and program candidates.
Work independently and collaboratively with PRA-BC team members and other staff in the larger department.
Take a proactive approach to working across teams and helping to ensure PRA-BC functions efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
Successful completion of grade twelve (12) supplemented by human resources or business training and three years’ recent, related experience or a combination of education, training and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with clients from a variety of countries and cultures is critical.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and confident in learning new software and online systems.
Ability to apply discretion in dealing with personal and confidential documentation.
Must be well-organized and able to work under minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with social media an asset.
